Jan 3 We went to Malaga

Malaga was very cool. The weather was awsome concidering it was winter. I would have liked to spend more time there. Perhaps we will return one day. We climbed up a mountain to tour a castle but took the bus back down to the beach because it was so steep. Then we had a snooze on the beach in the sun after lunch.

This was Newyears eve.

At midnight you have to eat 12 grapes, one for each ring of the church bell, between the sound of the first ring and the last ring. It ensures good luck for the whole year.

Lucky we made back to our hotel.

Los González are very crafty here in Spain.

A part of an old wall

Yoly wants one. It is Fiat 500.

A  59 Cadillac convertable.

With fins on the fins.

Fancier paint jobs than the Hudson has. This is a motor.

And another

Maybe this is what the Hudson needs.

Even Yoly had fun at the car museum in Malaga.

My favorite part was the feather hats and fancy dresses on display.

Park on the beach Malaga.

A small detail of the cathedral

We had a rest and a snack outside before the rain.

A flamenco singer sang a couple of songs and did a little dance.

The thre wise men.

The organ at the cathedral of the incarnation

Entrance of the Al Casaba at the top of the hill.

Nice fountain

Details of Al Casaba

Cool decorated piece

The romans left an amphitheater at the bottom of the Al Casaba

And spare parts.

New communities in Malaga

They call it the one armed chuch because they have never finished the other bell tower.

At the Al Casaba castle

We saw our first squirrel

Best beach in Malaga.

I bet there is a hundred boat/barbeques on the beach. (Chiringuitos, fish on a stick)

Almost cool shade by the beach

This couple were great entertainers. The man could play four instruments at one time and sing too.
