Sevilla was nice too, but a big city and dirtier than the other places we have visited in Spain. We stayed in a nice apartment and celebrated the end of Christmas on Jan 6, Dia del Reyes. On Dia de Reyes they have big parades where the participants throw tons of candy cheap toys and comic books into the crowd.
The Parasol in the Plaza Mayor
Another entrance of the carhedral
Enjoying the sun by one of the many fountains in Alcázar
Gorgeous cieling at the palace
Beautiful colours at the entrances of the palace
Enjoying the Cool buildings
Allan garding our spot to see the parade in 35 minutes.
They showered us with candy
At the end of the parade. (Cavalgata de Los Reyes)
Candy that was never picked out
Our shoes were very sticky after the parade
Balloon man just quit his job, perhaps he won the lottery.
Yummy Nativity made with chocolate and different candies.
Traditional "roscones" sweet bread with candied fruit filled with cream.
Light show by the Ayuntamiento
Looking over the skating rink
We had to try the "roscon" with and without cream, we collected one kilo of candy
The little portion of roscon with cream had a little angel hidden inside.
Enjoying the visit at Plaza España
Plaza de Toros and museum
The gardens are beautiful
We found the tomb of Christopher Colombus, he is buried in the cathedral in Sevilla
Yoly's favorite hang out in Sevilla, la Plaza España
This is how we want to remember Sevilla.
